Welcome!

Welcome to ‘she’s craftily… (tackling one project at a time)’! It’s been a while since I’ve used this blog, so I thought I’d start afresh with a new direction and a new look.

She’s Craftily is my little space where I’ll show you some of my latest crafting and dabbling. I’m one of those mad people that pick up new hobbies and projects all the time, hence the title, and wanted to share them with you!

At the moment, I’m dabbling in a bit of project life, some iphoneography (PicTapGo and Instagram are my go-to apps for editing at the moment), some design work for a few projects I’m working on (more on that soon, hopefully!).

Meanwhile, I’m currently waiting to move into our new house which is in the final throes of renovation. We’ve been camped out at my parents place since we moved from Sydney to Auckland 3 (!!!) months ago, so it’ll be great to be in our own place again. What I’m really excited about (apart from the almost brand new old house) is my Ikea Expedit which I’ll be able to unpack all of my crafting goodies into so I can get stuck into some good old paper shuffling. 😉

Here’s my living/dining area, mostly unpacked but a few boxes lingering and a few mirrors to put up! (and keeping it real, because we all know houses don’t look like showrooms when you first move in!) There are a few pieces of furniture (the chocolate brown pieces), which are from two houses ago, which I’m going to replace but for the moment they’re good for hiding junk in. hehe

And here’s the kitchen. I love the blue splashback and the cute pendant lights. The kitchen was designed by my very talented cousin. The splashback was actually supposed to be a lighter paler blue colour, but it turned out to be a very happy accident! 🙂
